jameson whiskey -
jameson whiskey was founded by John Jameson. Jameson built his whiskey distillery in Dublin in the year 1780. The cork distillers Company joined forces with their rivals John Jameson and John Powers to form the Irish Distillers Group in 1966. The Midleton distillery built by the Irish Distillers is producing now most of the Irish Whiskey sold in Ireland.
Jameson irish whiskey is produced from a mixture of malted and unmalted Irish barley. Malted barley is barley that has been allowed to germinate by steeping it in water. The barley is then dried in a closed kiln to preserve its clean malty flavors.

jameson irish whiskey
Yellow-gold hue. Delicate floral aromas with grainy notes and heat. Light-bodied, very smooth and clean, with a touch of astringency on the finish betraying the grain character.
jameson 1780 irish whiskey
Deep golden-amber hue. Rich woody aromas. Full-bodied, with rich brown spice flavors and bourbon like sweetness through the finish. A rich, mature and mellow style.
jameson gold irish whiskey
A stunningly huge-flavored Irish whiskeyespecially considering it is a blend. All of you Speyside single malt scotch drinkers who think Irish whiskey is light and wimpy must try this one. This whisky?s selling point is that a portion of it is aged in new oak.
jameson 15 year pot still
The 15-year-old Irish whiskey was selected from a special reserve of 200 exceptional casks. Each bottle will be individually numbered. The pure pot still whiskey was matured in dark aromatic warehouses in hand-picked American barrels and Oloroso sherry butts, undisturbed since 1984. |
