Buy Wine Online
Evidence of wine production dates back as far as 6000BC. The early Mesopotamians were the first known people to cultivate grapes and buy wine online LOL. Since these civilizations developed around grain-growing areas, wine was only available to a small minority of citizens. The people of Egypt recorded the harvest of grapes on stone tablets and the walls of their tombs. We know that the Egyptians drank wine from cups or from a jar through a straw. It seemed that the Egyptians loved their wine and even imported what they could not grow from Mesopotamia and Persia. We know little of what Ancient Egyptian wine actually tasted like, but we know that it was enjoyed by the socially elite, while beer was the main drink of the majority of individuals. It also seemed that the Pharaohs were especially fond of wine and some even had bottles buried with them in order to make their journey to the underworld more tolerable. These wines were also given to dead kings, so that they might entertain their friends in the afterlife. Wine was a very social drink in Ancient Egypt and great importance was given to its production and consumption. While the Egyptians were not the first to grow wine, they were the first to record the process of wine making and celebrate its values. Buy wine online
