is world-renowned as a truly singular bourbon. Wild Turkey is a Kentucky straight bourbon whisky. Originally produced as a private whisky served to wealthy New York businessmen during the annual turkey hunt in North Carolina. Wild Turkey is distilled at a low proof to seal its flavor. Very little distilled water is added. As a result Wild Turkey bourbon whisky is full flavored and very similar to the authentic bourbon taste one gets straight from the barrel.
Wild Turkey Rare Breed Bourbon
108 proof. A barrel-proof bourbon ( bottled directly from a variety of barrels at the proof it reaches in those barrels, with no added water to lower the proof or dilute the flavor) that marries 6-, 8- and 12 year old stocks.
Wild Turkey 80 proof
Deep amber hue. Lean wood, spice and date aromas. A smooth entry leads to a medium-bodied palate. Persistent, flavorful finish. Exceptionally smooth and refined with an underlying dry, woody quality.
Wild Turkey 101 proof
Rich amber hue. Subdued wood and mineral aromas. A lean attack leads to a medium-bodied palate. Firm, drying finish. Not exactly refined, but fiery and flavorful with a decided burn.
